A Dash of Elegance
Gibsonia, PA
Overview
Thank you to this family in Gibsonia, PA for allowing us to design this full master bathroom remodel.
The original shower was practically a closet, so we removed the walls and used a full glass design to open up the room to perpetuate a light and airy feel. A large niche in the shower allows for ample storage of products. The shower wall tile is Atlas Concorde EON in Carrara while the shower floor tile is LaMarca Hexagon honed in Carrara Gioia.
Relaxing in the soaking tub can be extended with the insulated walls allowing for longer bath times. The Beasley floor-mounted faucet at the base of the tub adds a dash of elegance to this peaceful retreat.
A wood-look porcelain tile was chosen for the floor. It was installed over an uncoupling membrane which is a superior underlayment for porcelain and ceramic tiles. The wheat-colored floor tile is from Florida Tile’s Distillery Collection.
Warm whites paired with warm beiges give this traditional bathroom an updated look by applying a contemporary color scheme. The warmth of the cabinetry’s wood tones brings a richness to the subtle background color scheme. The Savannah door style in maple nutmeg comes from Marsh Cabinetry and the countertop is Visions Statuario Quartz.

Features and Renderings
Full Bathroom REmodel Top Layout
From this top view rendering of the project, you can see how the room is much more open than before. The walls around the shower and tub have been removed and there is a much cleaner look with the double sinks and vanity.
Tub and Shower
In this rendering, you can see that all of the walls that made this bathroom feel closed off have been removed and have been replaced with a 65” freestanding tub with brushed nickel and shower with full glass enclosure and brushed nickel hardware.
Vanities and Carpentry
In this rendering, you can see that the vanities have gotten a major overhaul. New cabinetry with a quartz countertop bring elegance to the space. The full-wall mirrors were replaced with smaller 24” x 36” vanity mirrors highlighted on each side by wall sconces.
