Our recent project in Fox Chapel, PA, perfectly exemplifies this approach, showcasing how we seamlessly integrated a modern Nanawall system into a landscape designed to retain its natural charm.

At Vizyon Design Group, we approach every project with a comprehensive 3D design and planning process within a BIM (Building Information Model) environment. From initial site measurements to final presentations, everything is rendered in 3D. We utilize 3D LIDAR scanners to ensure accuracy and feasibility. The Nanawall Transformation
The transformation truly began with the new pool house, replacing an old shed. The homeowners envisioned a living area with a kitchen and ample windows, leading to the incorporation of Nanawall. This collaborative decision, made after several design revisions, proved pivotal. Nanawall provided abundant natural light and a seamless connection between the pool house, pool, and the rest of the yard.

The placement of the pool house was carefully considered to maximize views of the pool and landscaping. Nanawall’s ability to open and fold allows for optimal traffic flow, further enhancing the integration of the spaces.
Honoring Nature, Embracing Modernity
Our primary goal was to honor the existing landscape’s inherent beauty while introducing modern upgrades. We were committed to preserving the key elements from the original landscape, including the sandstone planter box and creeping juniper shrub. Even the new sandstone for the decking stone was sourced from a Maryland quarry to ensure a seamless match with the original stone. The homeowner's desire to maintain an 'English Garden' feel guided our design choices, reinforcing our commitment to preserving nature while embracing modernity.
Preserving the Past, Building the Future: we understand the value of preserving the original landscape elements. In this project, we carefully retained the sandstone planter box and creeping juniper shrub, even sourcing new sandstone from a Maryland quarry to ensure the new decking stone matched seamlessly. This commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment is a hallmark of our design approach.
